Salvo, you did say way back there, that these thermistors required a one minute wait so I used four minutes today to make sure.
I may be jumping the gun. That was all "established" with a thermistor that has been through the wars as shown in that picture.
With a new, whole, intact thermistor perhaps you don't have to be careful. Fact is they did catch fire while I was using them--but we don't hear about other people having theirs catch fire, so I don't know.
