So when I picked four minutes in those tests that was still not long enough but at least it happened to be over three. I do not plan to do hot restarts; I am trying to not do those anymore.
Apparently, from no concerns about a slow cook expressed about that, there is no problem from leaving the converter on for weeks with the one 5R thermistor.
So it's one 5R020 and a longer wait if a restart is needed, and don't leave the Vectors at home just yet!
