30-45a fits with the diode bridge spec 25a but good to 60.
What about the two versions of voltage to use, where in one they use 120v line but in the other they turn that into 170 and use that?
If it is the diode bridge that turns 120 into 170, why do I use 170 back at the thermistor instead of 120 to get its R?
Didn't go back to the tutorial, but a "nominal" 120V RMS AC 60hz line voltage has a peak voltage of 170ish volts.
We don't know when you "flip the switch" where in that cycle the line voltage is, but worst case it will be at 170V. so that's the voltage you want to use to determine what the max current will be.
