You are buying the wrong one. My first Progressive Dynamics lasted 10+ years (before I sold the rig), the 2nd has last 4+. Both running near 20-7-365
I agree, I bought a piece of junk. It was a Progressive Dynamics unit! I bought the first one five years ago when the OEM unit in my Cougar failed. It died within the warranty period. PD sent me a replacement (rebuilt I might add), and it too died. Both of these were left plugged in 24-7-365. Did you really turn yours off everyday for four hours, or is that a typo.
I can't remember the current brand in my '14 Grand Design, but there hasn't been a glitch yet.
