I noticed that the Go Power converter has an automatic equalization cycle. You may wish to contact Go Power and find out what the voltage is when equalizing. It may exceed the AGM's threshold.
The difference between a deck mount converter and the system converters is that the latter have a 12V distribution center and will probably include the AC circuit breakers. If you already have that, it's not necessary to replace them.
I've emailed Randy over at bestconverters.com and will try calling him tomorrow, with go power I'll be waiting awhile before I can get it so I'll see what Randy suggests and see if I can get it shipped in within 5 days.
So if I have a power center (breakers, fuses, etc) all I need to replace is the converter/charger. If I purchase just a deck mount, is it easily installed into the old power Center?
