copy that, The old battery compartment will be struck and empty, no old batteries. That's where I'm thinking the new converter will go. I just referenced two 12volt batteries stacked on top of each other for size reference as I'm hoping the deck mount will fit.
This converter is what I'm looking at.
I`m not really sure what I`m looking for in transfer switches (If both solar and the converter have over charge protection, do I still need a transfer switch) and isolaters but I may have to change to the Lifeline GPL-6CTAGM set up as I can`t find anyone who carries the 16T
