Cooling Unit

I've been told by 2 different techs that I need a new cooling unit. I feel that I can handle the job. While I have seen a couple of people on here posting links to the Amish site I am wondering if anyone has bought from these individuals and if you are satisfied?

    Just replaced my RM 2652 dometic with an Amish new unit. Damn thing rocks in the AZ heat. OEM cooling unit was glued in real good, caused me to break a pipe open on removal and spray ammonia everywhere .

    I think if you look at the prices of the RV Cooling they also have the cheaper 395.00 price BUT it is a reconditioned unit. The higher price unit from RV Cooling is a NEW unit heavier duty. This is the type I bought and installed and am happy with it.

    Pricing seems cheaper via the link OP posted........3 yr/ warranty but they are manufactured units (RV Cooling Warehouse has remans. also---higher priced---but have 5 yr. on leaks)

    Personally I wouldn't replace with a reman.
    The new units are using thicker walled tubing

    We got our's from this place. Service couldn't have been better.
