Johnson Controls adds the electrolyte in the USA and on goes the sticker. OPTIMA cannot do that because the battery leaves the Mexican plant intact.
Does your Ford truck say MADE IN MEXICO? 99% of it is in fact.
Does RAMCAR say half of it's batteries are made in the Philippines?
When I visited the LTH facility in Monterrey I saw flatbeds loaded with palletized batteries BEARING THE JOHNSON CONTROLS LABEL. And other brands, including Interstate, Sears, Duralast, and more than I can recall.
