$799 at Costco. looks like a 3000ihandi 58db 8hrs at 25% load... who has one? they have the 2000w smart tools for 599 too and a wagan 1500w solar genny for 699. they call it an inverte...

I wouldn't mind seeing some updates myself with the Hondas, including the ECU and common rail fuel injection, but it wouldn't hurt to see a real, three stage battery charger with desulfation, and some USB ports that are capable of charging iPads and other items. Of course, having the existing Honda models sold for cheaper would be a nice thing as well, assuming that quality is no way sacrificed.
As for the Solar Cube, 5 x 16 watts in panels for a grand isn't that great, unless you are wanting a portable, all in one unit. The $700 price is cheaper than what is usually sells for, although I'd use the money for starting a decent solar charging system which would give far more watts in than a max of 80.
