$799 at Costco. looks like a 3000ihandi 58db 8hrs at 25% load... who has one? they have the 2000w smart tools for 599 too and a wagan 1500w solar genny for 699. they call it an inverte...

FYI. The Champion 75531i 3100/2800 is rated at 58dba at 23 ft. Champion's tech support folks told me this dba rating was made with a 50% load.
The Honda EU3000i "Handi" (closest equivalent inverter generator from Honda) is rated at 57 dba at 1/4 load (65 dba at full load).
In the realworld, I would assume no major difference in loudness between the units. Important to note the Honda "Handi" does cost approx. $1300 more than the Champion 75531i (online prices).
