My nieghbor bought one. It seemed alot loader than the 58 dba advertised, also it would not run his 1350 btu AC unit. It would start the AC unit but stopped producing power on the next cycle. I think it tripped the breaker on the generator. As he bought it to run his AC he is bringing it back to Costco.

is that the 28/31 that won't run a 13,500 AC?

Yes that was the one (28/31)He tells me he was assured it would run his AC, that is why it has an RV plug. He tells me he is returning it. Other than that no more info....had to go to work.

  • Read the specs on the solar cube and you'll forget about purchasing it. Its pretty and well engineered but a single flat panel can provide a lot more energy than that cube.

  • solar cube looks interesting but how many batteries would you have to charge up to keep things going at night and on overcast days? A 2000 watt generator seems sort of useless for my use since I want AC and 2300 is about minimum?
