The boiling point for sulfuric acid is 337 °C (639 °F)
The bubbling seen when charging is gassing from electrolysis. i.e. splitting the molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. It is directly related to the charging voltage. At -20 C (-4 f) gassing voltage is 17.82 volts. At 25 c (77 f) gassing voltage is 14.34 volts. At 50 c (122 f) it is 13.8 volts.
Gassing voltage is used to equalize. Having a higher than gassing voltage applied will not increase the charging rate--it just increases the number of bubbles per second. It will not decrease the necessary charging time.
Charging voltage at -30 c (-22 f) is 16.2 volts; charging voltage at 50 c (122 f) is 13.2 volts.
