60 amps *if* you start with a smart charger, then 30 amps *after* the smart charger has said the battery bank is full (which it almost certainly is not--exception solar system charging).
Definition of full is 1/2 amp charge rate per 100 amp-hours of battery bank. Or 1.28 specific gravity after resting for 24 hours using a temperature compensated SG measuring device.
As the jars charge they "push back" and amperage going into the bank drops. At 85% state of charge, acceptance rate is 12.5 amps per 100 amp-hours of battery bank. Raising voltage will increase gassing with essentially no net improvement of acceptance rate (exception--low temperature charging).
I had a filling kit. It broke and broke over and over again. I finally abandoned it and went back to laying in the snow to check electrolyte levels.

OK, lots of variables here. Someone said 60amps and now 36amps. Won't that take twice the time or at least more time to charge? Again 2 Costco GC.2s.

P.S. Thanks for the specific name on the charger. Don't mind spending a little more on a 60amp (not $500 I saw online) if that will work better but what is the name and model
