I guess the word HYDROMETER is like saying Wife Beater or Child Molester. Not spoken in polite company. Reaching 1% or .5% with a flooded battery is worthless without the time factor being a component. FLA is not AGM. By trial configuring a dedicated formula for your own bank is a possibility. Exchange 3 hours to reach 1% with 8 hours to reach 1% and the factoring estimate becomes moot. This is a chemical engineering subject not a pure E=MC2 math equation. Trends & Tendencies must be calibrated via a hydrometer, clock, voltage and amperage. Something an integrated circuit is sadly lacking. For what must be the hundredth time on this forum THE HYDROMETER READINGS ARE REALITY YOU CAN SEE. Once you lasso an idea of instrument behavior to "reality" then instrument management is possible but aging skews trends and tendencies so periodic hydrometer readings and readjustments are not an option. Hope this helps.
