This is just an FYI update on this thread -- I just came from my both my local Sams Club and my local Costco. In my local Costco stores, in years past, I had never seen them disclose the aH rating of their 6V GC batteris, only cold cranking amps, a useless statistic for my purposes. And once when I asked the Costco employee in Tires and Batteries to look it up, he could not find the aH rating for their 6V batteries.
So today I was pleasantly surprised to find that my Costco has the aH rating of their CG batteries posted on the tag. Theirs are 232 aH, and cost $89.99 here. They even posted the weight of the battery on the tag, at 66.7 lbs. And over at Sams Club, theirs are 220 aH and cost $79.83. Probably from a pure dollars and cents point of view, the Sams Club batteries are the better value. But I only have room for two batteries on the tongue of my TT, so in the next couple of weeks when I buy two GC batteries, in the interest of having as many amp hours as I can within a reasonable price range, I expect I will purchase the Costco batteries with the higher amp hour rating.
