I find this to be true about batteries and other merchandise when shopping the discount outlets (Sams, Costco). I've also found that a phone call or an internet search doesn't get valid results, either. This is one of the downsides of these warehouse stores, they sell what's on the floor and have no interest in what's in inventory or any of the products attributes. It's on the shoulders of the buyer to determine value and specifications.
