Not all of the Chinese tires are poor quality. The Sailun tires have proven to be an excellent trailer tire, but don't know about their passenger tires.
Seems like Cooper has fingers in many pies, so probably the only way to really tell would be to physically check the Country of Origin stamp on the tire.
