What is this "end" of which you speak? Inside the rig I have tested every fuse (14 of them from 2 40A to 12 15A) and every breaker (7). All have continuity intact.

The fuses he is referring to are located on the converter itself. Not positive but since your converter works when hooked up to shore power this might not be the problem .. if you have access to your converter it's easy to check.
