Heat pumps are over unity, 2000/550 is a COP of 3.6 which sounds about right.
about the same as a typical rv ac unit.
todays rv ac units at 13.5KBTU is about 4,500 watts, from 10 to 13A or 1200 to 1500 watts input. again COP of around 3 to 4.
remember a heat pump which is what your AC, fridge, freezer etc. is, just MOVES heat from one location to another. inside to outside or vice versa. It doesn't make any heat, other then the inefficiency of moving the heat.
