Why?
Delco used pure carbon brushes. Super long and they were brittle
Replaced with St Mary's USA carbon copper brushes. Lasted longer no breakage ever.
Cost $0.09 more per brush than Delco.
Do something like that today?

Ok, so, what on a more than 40 year old trailer could kill a battery in one evening?
I am trying to isolate whether or not it is the battery. If it isn't the battery, then out comes the multimeter to find the problem.
