What caused the dead chassis battery? In some coaches, you can run it down playing the dash radio. Repeated operating of the electric steps is another possibility. But if more items, used while you're camping, are connected to chassis battery you could move them to "House" batteries.
If your chassis battery is going bad, suggest you replace it right away. My neighbor tried to start his Ford/ClassA/V10 with a really low battery and ended up replacing Starter and Solenoid before it'd start once the battery was charged. I can't prove it, but I think low cranking voltage burned the windings out.
