Also, it wasn't a strut I was fixing, it was a switch? (plunger on the door that engages and disengages when the door shuts) which I was assuming was a contact for the keypad lock on the door.
On Jayco, those are the emergency start solenoid and the 12 volt circuit breakers. IF BOTH your chassis and coach are up front(Jayco has not had that in years). The Battery disconnect will still be located behind the front cab area somewhere in a storage area or stepwell. Do you have 2 batteries up front under the hood? One on the left and one on the right? IF only one battery, then that is your chassis battery and you need to locate your coach battery. Doug
