Sticking to 13.2v (for 77F) at 35F would be way under what 13.2 is supposed to do at 77F
OPs location states "south", I suspect experiences a lot less "colder" temperatures than what you would in Canada..
and depending just how deep "south" they are they can easily see temps above 60F all winter and experience temps well into the low 100F area in the Summer.
So, unless they have a temp compensated converter, 13.2V would most likely be far more appropriate for not only FLA but AGM..
But in reality, they could save one heck of a lot of money by reducing the float from 13.5V (which cooked their FLA) down to 13.2V and just buy another set of FLA at a massive savings over the AGM..
They won't save a penny on AGM if they cook those also..
