No surprise that the tire shops wouldn't put LT's directly on the trailer. Smart/reputable shops refuse to do so because LT's are NOT designed for the use. Naturally, they don't want to be held responsible for such an application.

If that is true, why did my Montana Big Sky come with LT tires? Maybe they know something you don't? Heaven forbid!! :)
And why do my Sailun LT tires say "For trailer use only"? Notice those are LT tires. Hmm, looks like a conspiracy to discredit the postings of someone? :)
Yeah- good on the RV industry for picking up on the general obsession with the "LT" lettering...
Lovin' that the Montana "LT235/85R16G" is a trailer tire SIZE, and those supposed "LT's" are marked "trailer service only".
