I assume you got this trailer used? Assuming that's the case, perhaps the previous owners replaced the cushions at some time. This is also hinted at by the brown upholstery of the lower cushions that clearly doesn't meet the federally mandated standards for ugliness of RV interiors.
I have a tough time believing it came from the factory like this...but then again, there are plenty of things in plenty of RVs that make one stare in wonderment and disbelief.
