If you are using the E Z lube grease zert there is a 99% chance you have already got grease on the brake shoes. Once you do the shoes need replacing. Dexter had already put too much grease in the hubs and on my trailer grease had gotten past the seals on three of the wheels and on the shoes on one. Dexter guarantees their brakes for two years and since mine was only a year old, and I had never greased them, Dexter replaced all four of my brakes.
