Dicor sealtite foamcore any thoughts?
Its a hollow round butyl tape used for windows. Comes in a 44' roll. Heard anything good or bad about it?
I trust that brand and might buy their regular butyl tape. Wanted white color but not convinced its true butyl.
Would you use the foamcore on the water heater trim seal? Pretty darn similar to a window. I notice a lot of my sealant failures are actually a trim failure where the plastic has warped and pulled away. I think the foam core is supposed to allow for expansion because of its hallow shape that gets partially compressed during install. Do you think its too think for the water heater trim?
