The only way to PROVE any of this is DIY. SPL meters are now Smartphone Apps and way better than what's on the market for less than $1k.JiminDenver wrote:
There should be a online source of this brochure but I sure can't find it. Maybe you could provide this unlike the last thread that died without proof.
Totally agree with you 100%. But there isn't.
The only way to find the proof for yourself is to go to honda.com click on power equipment then on generators. Then at lower left click brouchures and order a generator brochure. It's FREE !!!!!!

Honda Power Equipment website lists it at 7 metres.
red31 has just shown us that Hondas web site says it's measured at 9ft.(3meters). Now you claim it lists it at 7 meters. Please show us where on the Honda web site this (7meter) information is listed.
C.B. - shum02ExplorerHonda Power Equipment website lists it at 7 metres. Websites are on the whole a LOT more current than brochures and as well as more easily corrected if wrong.

There was another thread where someone made this claim from some brochure they had but couldn't substantiate it.
I just bumped that thread up again in hopes Japan may yet reply. - JiminDenverExplorer IIThis is Campinglife test of the Honda 1000 and 2000 plus the Yamaha 1000 at 20 ft. The real world sucks for advertisers.
