Not at all. The Dicor will do the job just fine - there's no reason to use anything else. You didn't even need to make the gasket.
I installed two FF on our last TT with just dicor (didn't use the flimsy bubble wrap "gasket" they provided) and it was still water tight 13 years later.
On our new trailer they were installed by the factory the same way, just Dicor.
I would cover the edge of the inner-tube material with Dicor because it will brake down with UV if you dont protect it.
