I added fans for the summers here in Phoenix when it's 115 degrees and my fridge stays at 33 and freezer about 3 degrees.
if your question was directed at me our fridge frequently bumps up against 40 and sometimes goes above. freezer gets into the teens but usually only when fridge approaches 40. as I mentioned we are done worrying, stressing and fussing with it. we rarely boondock so we're going residential.
