differance between 13500 BTU/Ac and 15000 BTU/AC

I have a 31 foot class C motor home with a 13500 BTU/ac and it will not keep my unit cool. It runs all day and most the night. Will a 15000 BTU unit make a big enough difference or is their something ...

Check the interior plenum divider is well positioned and well sealed. Many are poorly installed and let air circulate within the unit instead of pushing out to the living space.

Otherwise 10% is what you get. What is the interior vs exterior temperature? A little extra is not going to get you down from 88 to 74 inside. Although very common for the RV air to run continuous from 10A to midnight or more in extreme conditions.
