differance between 13500 BTU/Ac and 15000 BTU/AC

I have a 31 foot class C motor home with a 13500 BTU/ac and it will not keep my unit cool. It runs all day and most the night. Will a 15000 BTU unit make a big enough difference or is their something ...

On my former Class-C, we would crank down the AC very cold in the early AM, and keep it running full force. Limit the times you open the entry door, and shades on all windows and vents, plus park in the shade and keep the awning out if possible. There were times in the Southwest where is was just kinda warm all day despite our efforts. Good luck!
