I have taped off everything inside the housing of the AC. Today I also taped off the end of the last 2 air vents in the over head and the bedroom.(they went off to no vents) My slide out is a full wall slide out so when I test it at home with the slide in it dose not seem that bad. I do get a 20 deg difference between the inlet and air vent. I looked today and the bedroom is not pre-wired for another ac. :S I have dark covers over all the roof vents so I guess I need to make covers to go over the windows. I have one for the windshield.
You have not stated, but we assume you have a 30 amp RV. Which means they would NOT prewire for a 2nd RV. Usually, 50 amp RV's with 1 AC will have the prewire for a 2nd AC. The reason your unit has only 1 AC and not prewired for a 2nd has to do with how a dealer and OEM market the product. You can build a 31 foot with the smaller 13.5 AC and beat other dealers that are selling the correct outfitted unit(2 AC's with 50 amp service), by up to $3000 to $5000 depending on the OEM pricing. 40 years ago we sold Flair and Brougham Class C's for $9999. BUT, you want a Roof AC and a Genset? Of course in Texas heat. When we added those appliances, the price went to $14999. $9999 got you in and we sold you an upgrade. Doug
