The Boondocker 75 amper would normally go to "boost" (doing 75 amps steady) for the first 15 minutes after you turn it on. That would bring batteries that started at 12.2 volts say to 13.6 or so on the initial "spike" you get when turning on a charger.
If the battery voltage did not reach 14.6 in that 15 minutes, the charger would continue to charge at 75 amps till the voltage did get to 14.6, at which time the charger will automatically drop to 13.6 volts and stay there till the batteries are charged up.
When that drop to 13.6v happens, you will see your 75 amps drop immediately to about half that and then start to taper.
If the batteries reach 14.6 in that first 15 minutes, then the voltage will drop to 13.6 and stay there while amps taper.
