That is NOT WHAT your OP said. It clearly stated they spent four hours and COULDN'T FIND the problem. This is IMO ENTIRELY DIFFERENT than saying by doing X would fix the problem. To do that you would have to know what the problem was and no where did you say what the X was they did and didn't fix the problem.
I guess I question what actually went on and what your are attempting to accomplish with this question??:h
Pay the shop and move on.
