Have DirecTV installed in your home and ask for an extra Standard basic receiver. Be sure to look online to get the package you need. You will not get local channels more than 100-125 miles from your home. If you need local channels you will need 2 different DirecTV packages and pay extra for both. On one package you will then need to complete the RV form on Directv website and submit, then subscribe to the east coast west coast feeds of affiliate network channels like ABC, CBS, NBC. Or you might be able to buy sports programming to get the games you want. Once you get the home installed, purchase the RV dish. Get the one that FrankShore recommended above. Much easier to use. DirecTV will not usually install the RV system, however it is easy to do. If you have more than one TV in the RV you will need more than one receiver.
