Directv on the Road
Can you still take a receiver out of your house and use a Tailgator or another Directv compatible dish on the road?

- Easily done if you have the old standard definition receiver. We've been doing it for years. Not sure how much longer SD receivers will be supported and Directv HD receivers need the Traveler antenna as best I know.
- Which receiver do you take with you? We have the new equipment and not sure if you can take a room box or if you have to take the main box?
- We've been doing it for 12 years. Standard definition although many neighbors have high def.
