Ya it's a rack and pinion type, I'd like to sneak a peak underneath just to see if there's anything at all as a slide or if it just slides on the carpet.
I think I have a rock or something in there, the darco on the bottom of the slide looks like it's got something marking it up in one spot.
It either slides on rollers or more often, it slides across a long white (or natural nylon color) edge as it comes in. If you lift the capret inside you will see it.
Mine ended up getting broken on out last TT so I installed rollers. A big job but it sure worked better.
