Disabling the converter charger when using the inverter

Apologies if this has been answered but a search didn't help. If I install a disconnect switch in the positive lead from the converter to the batteries, will this create a problem? This would b...

With that setup I'd disconnect the converter permanently. But not by cutting a wire to the batteries, cut the 120v feed line. Otherwise the converter is being powered when your inverter is on.
