So, now what?
First try running a coaxial cable through the RV (across the floor) between the DTV receiver and the TV, assuming you mean 19” TV and not a 19” CRT such as a monitor. That probably won’t correct the problem, but if it does, check for grounding of the coaxial cable shield to the coach frame.
I connected the 2nd tv in the bedroom with the receiver in the living room (via the connection to the right of sat inputs 1 and 2 -- skipping the connection to the wall, through the rig and out of the wall again into the bedroom) and that didn't resolve the waves, so the connections aren't the problem.
Test 2 was inconclusive because I couldn't view the satellite screen on the first tv via the 2nd tv's wall connection. It was just snow. I tried changing the channel to 73 and still nothing.
But at least I know it's not the wall connections or the coax I can't reach.
I just wired in a new air conditioner back there. The junction box is just inches from the tv. Could that be it? Would it help if I changed out the tv to a newer flat screen? ? Would the ground loop affect that type of tv as well? Is there any way to shield the tv/cable from the interference?
Thanks for the input....
