MSW inverters can cause waver
I have an inverter, not sure what kind, it's about 10 ft away in the basement, and on the other side of the rig.
Is the waviness only when the inverter is inverting? Or all the time (Shore/Generator/inverter)... and as others have suggested ground loops can be a pain.. I have a corespondent who recommends something that I consider an "only if you have to" solution.. He gets those adapters that let you plug a 3-prong plug into a 2 prong socket (From days of old when those were code) and that "lifts" the ground pin on the TV.. Sometimes they help. Generally there is no danger, but..... Well..... I have been knocked on my keister because of one of those a couple of times.. Very ticked at the service idiot who installed it. (Complaint, Dishwasher blows fuses Cause, hot wire to case short... Repair tech solution; One of those adapters,, Very dangerous in that case) Most TV's have plastic cases, no exposed metal save for the antenna fitting and possibly some other I/O connections.
