Disconnect the Coax from the back of the receiver for the Out to Sat.
Plug in to the Inverter. Take a short (12 inch) coax and screw onto the Out to Sat coax output of the receiver. Use a Multimeter set on DC. There should be a pulsed 13 to 18 volts signal (alternating from 13 to 18 and back). SEE if you get that voltage on Inverter. The Inverter may be sending a "bad" 120 volt to the receiver and the receiver cannot process that to the 13-18 dc volt output. Doug
