I had planned on using Shaw Direct Free Range internet streaming TV when we travel to the US. The catch is, it's only supposed to be used in Canada. I can work around it by spoofing the ISP/Shaw with a US based IP address, but it's a pain because the free VPN don't offer much free bandwidth, and the ppu ones aren't free. Still, if push came to shove, the ppu VPN services aren't that expensive, that I can see. If TV becomes a must have priority.
Does Dish Anywhere check the user's IP address, when/if you're out of country? Might matter to some travelers. Maybe not an issue if you're using cell service to get internet.
