I replaced a kitchen sink faucet in a camper once before. I can be a very tricky job. In my case, the undercounter footprint of the original unit was a lot smaller than the footprint of the new unit. I have to do some fancy chisel work to cut away some parts that were in the way.
If you have rigid plastic connections now, you will likely want to attach flexible ones to the hot and cold so you have playing room to make them attach to the lines in the rig easier.
Depends on the fittings, but never hurts to have a roll of 1/2 inch plumbers tape handy.
