I have read where some said their slide-outs did throw the level off a bit. They compensated for it before running the slide-outs out. I guess it all depends on the make and model of the RV, the manufacturers' recommendation and what really works best.
Myself, I wouldn't want to move my TT with the slide-outs extended, so I would level or compensate for being level with the slide-outs extended before running them out.
