Since I always boondock and never have a concrete or asphalt pad, putting out a slide will throw the level off as the dirt compresses under the jacks on the slide side. My present TT isn't so bad as it has a slide on each side so it kind of balances itself. My previous TT with one super slide would go off quite a bit.. After a while I got pretty good at judging just how much the dirt would compress, and adjusting for it.... But if it rained it would most always need readjusting.
