First off, I made no mention in my post about across the board adoption of this technology. I did mention at least one model. I'm more than happy for those who prefer carburetor and no catalyst to be able to purchase such a generator.
But just as strongly I want to be able to buy what I want. The two posts which took issue with my wishes seem not to want this choice offered. Can't the market support a broader selection? My guess is once it does, the fuel injected clean models will sell well(and at not excessive price premium). Heck this technology is on Chinese scooters right now. It certainly could be adopted by Onan and Honda.
