Yes it's not and No it is, can end up in a closed loop forever meaningless tag-you're-it, word game playoff.
Of it could end up with someone on a workbench actually doing the exercise and witnessing results with their own eyeballs.
The idea is to extract alcohol from gasoline. As a chemist I could tell you how to extract different vapor pressure components using a column and a heater. That serves no purpose. No one is going to use a heater and a column. Nor a vacuum separator.
So I suggested using water as a "coalescing" agent. Something anyone can do. If removing alcohol from petroleum distillate is an objective to themselves and not to anyone else.
