At 106F (41C) and 13.8V? Unless it temp comps down to the high 12 range they're probably gassing. As a matter of fact, I'm changing the wiring on my converter to knock the voltage down a bit cause we're getting into well over 100F (38C) range. HiTech has a nice thread on float voltage. Got me thinking about mine.
