I suspect some of the differing numbers are being caused by the different motors used in FF's.
The older, BLACK motors use less current and are more quiet.
The newer, GOLD iridite pancake style motors have a hum to them and use more current. (Thanks to Dometic for buying a great company and cutting corners)
I have one of each and a built in ammeter so I'm in a unique position to measure these right now.
Here are the numbers:
Old black motor style:
1. 1.3A
2. 1.5A
3. 2.0A
New gold motor style (Post Dometic purchase):
1. 1.4A
2. 2.1A
3. 3.1A
Current measurements +/- .1A
Batteries (2X6V) at 12.7VDC (converter off)
